California Skateparks has released a preliminary design for the planned skate spot at Kings Mill Park, which is located at 9018 Field St. in Westminster. Construction is planned to begin in January and is expected to last 45 days.

After several years of advocacy and fundraising, threats by the town to cut funding, construction of a temporary skatepark and location changes, the skaters, led by the Skaters Coalition for Concrete, of Pagosa Springs are getting a new concrete skatepark.
Pillar Design Studios designed a small park to match the small budget of $80,000. Who Skates is constructing the skatepark at Yamaguchi Park, which is located at 684 S. 5th St. in Pagosa Springs.

Steamboat Springs just kicked off a fundraising effort for Phase II of the Bear River Skatepark. Team Pain Skateparks designed and constructed the first phase, which is 9,000 square feet. The park opened 2 years ago.
The Skatepark Alliance plans to sell bricks that can be engraved, which will be priced from $150 to $1,000. The Alliance, along with the city, also hopes to secure grants for the next phase.

On September 26, the Westminster City Council approved a $130,000 design/build contract with California Skateparks for the development of a small skate spot (4,000 – 5,000 square feet) at Kings Mill Park. No design has been released as the city is still undergoing contract negotiations with California.
Kings Mill Park is located at 9018 Field St. in Westminster. The skate spot will be built where the pool and Head Start building once stood. Construction is planned to begin in January and is expected to last 45 days.
All are welcome to attend a progress meeting for the planned Huck Finn Skatepark in Leadville which will be held on Wednesday, October 12 @ 5:00pm in the Commissioners Room in the County Court House. Native Skateparks has been selected to design and construct the skatepark. $160,000 has been raised for the project so far with 3 grants still under review. California Skateparks, along with ECI Construction, is currently constructing the new skatepark in Thornton. The skatepark is expected to be complete in the late fall. Check out this link for more info and some construction photos.

There will be a design meeting held at The Skateboard Market on Tuesday, October 4 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm for a small skatepark in Ft. Collins. Bring ideas for a small skate spot (2,000 – 2,500 square feet) with a “water theme.” Market is located at 644 South College Avenue in Ft. Collins.
The nearly complete Parkfield Lake Skatepark in Denver was designed and is being constructed by Action Sport Design (ASD). The park is located at 15555 East 53rd Ave. near the Montbello Rec Center with a grand opening scheduled for October 15th at 1:00pm with Mayor Hancock.
The Erie Board of Trustees will be considering the final concept design for the planned skatepark on Tuesday, September 27 at 6:30pm in the Board Room at Erie Town Hall, 645 Holbrook Street. The board will be seeking approval to move forward with design. Show your needed support for the park project and to provide comments on the design.
